Together with a multidisciplinary team, I worked on the April and June editions of Eindless Magazine as part of a takeover.

April edition
For the April edition, our team took over part of the content and styling of Eindless Magazine. I was responsible for the visual storytelling of the new section Gezien?, as well as the creation of a mascot representing the team.

I illustrated the comic based on an anonymous submission. In addition to the comic, I also made a short animated version for social media.
Mascot
In order to show which sections of the magazine were part of the takeover, I made a customisable mascot that we put next to each of our contributions.

Design decisions
Eindhoven - Eindless Magazine is a magazine focused on events and happenings in and around Eindhoven. The light bulb links to Eindhoven's identity through the connection with Philips, 'Lighttown' and Glow.
Young - The goal of working with Eindless Magazine was to involve more young people with the magazine to attract a younger audience. I chose a popping magenta, and the black lines look as if someone scribbled over them, as one would in a newspaper or a magazine.
Creative - I wanted the mascot to show the creativity of our team. The black scribbles on top of the mascots are a reference to the doodles and sketches that naturally emerge during team meetings.
Ä6 - As students of Ä6 Media Design, we wanted our identity to be represented in the mascot. To incorporate that, I opted for a °∀° expression to keep the distinctive A and the dots in there.

I also made a few animated versions of the mascot to be used as visual elements for social media posts.
June edition
For the June edition, the team took over the entire magazine. I created another comic for Gezien?, wrote an article accompanied by my own courtroom sketches, and illustrated another article.
